CHUM Therapeutic Riding opportunities include an integrated therapeutic riding program for those with and without disabilities of all ages. These are group riding lessons with inherent therapeutic value. The school year term runs September till June, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, running daytimes and evenings. The cost per hour long class is $25 with an annual registration fee of $35.
Hippotherapy, the use of the horse's movement and environment in therapy sessions, is available through our occupational therapist. The cost is $25 per 15 minute unit of service, usually therapy sessions run 45 minutes at $75. We no longer bill health insurances.
