Thank you for your interest in our program. I am looking forward to meeting your and your family and introducing you to our world of horses and therapy. If attending CHUM for OT services, a script from the doctor specifying “Occupational therapy services to include hippotherapy as the tool for treatment” is required. All riders are required to complete the packet of forms before participating. The cost for therapeutic riding sessions is $25 per hour with an annual registration fee of $35. The cost for therapy sessions is $25 per 15 minute units and most sessions run 45 minutes to one hour.

From Lansing: From Grand River Ave., go east out of Okemos and turn right onto Meridian Rd going south. Take Meridian to stop sign at M-36 and go left. At four corners in Dansville go right onto Jefferson Rd. It becomes Williamston Rd. Take Williamston Rd out of town to blinker light and go left onto Dexter Trail. Follow road till it splits (Carter Rd goes straight and Dexter Trail goes right). Staying on Dexter Trail, take curve to the right and go 1 mile. We are on the right hand side just around another curve. Small white ranch with white barns and ‘CHUM’ sign with house number sign on fence. Indoor arena drive is off of circle drive to house and goes around the back. Parking is next to arena.
From 127: Take 127 to Mason’s Kipp Rd exit. Come off the exit and go east past Meijers. Take Kipp Rd to end at Dexter Trail. Go right on Dexter Trail about 10 miles. You will go through two blinker lights (one at Meridian Rd and one at Williamston Rd). After the second blinker light the road will split to the right (becomes Carter Rd if you go straight—don’t go straight!). Staying on Dexter Trail, take the split to the right and go 1 mile. From Howell: Take 96 west to M 52 at Webberville exit. Go south, towards Stockbridge, on M 52. Go about 7 miles to Carter Rd. Go right onto Carter. Go past Dietz Rd, past Osborne Rd, to the gravel pits (one on each side). That will be Dexter Trail. Go left onto Dexter Trail and go 1 mile. We are on the right hand side just around another curve.
